Perfect from start to finish.
Leanne and George met on Tinder and had been together for just over two years when George popped the question. He whisked Leanne away for a weekend in Amsterdam and proposed at twilight beside the canal.
Leanne and George chose to hold their big day at The Orchard because our wedding packages (and planners) take the stress out of organising the wedding.
We chose the Orchard because of the brilliant wedding packages you have where we were able to have everything from the cake to the cars under one roof.
The best part about your venue and packages which we found to be invaluable, was our wedding co-ordinator, Tash! She helped so much with taking care of tying all the little ends up and really removed the stress on the build up to the wedding.
The big day
Leanne arrived in style in a beautiful vintage wedding car. She wore a gorgeous wedding dress with a fabulous train and gracefully flowing veil. Enjoying a sunny day, they held their ceremony in our Garden Gazebo. Once married they made the most of our glorious countryside for more intimate photos.
Returning to The Orchard they held their wedding breakfast in the Starlight Suite, where they and their guests then danced the night away.
Our favourite part of the day is so difficult to pinpoint purely for the fact it was almost perfect from start to finish with the help of your seamless staff.
But we would have to say that our first dance was the most special to us. The entertainment company that was hired with our package as the DJ was FANTASTIC and made it a really special moment.
A very close second for me, the bride, personally was our fabulous toastmaster and Tash, prepping me before saying my vows, just making sure I was calm and reassuring that everything was taken care of. They were professional, yet almost like having members of the family there! It really made a difference to the start of the wedding.
