Loe & Jim

We never fell in love with any place more than this.

The proposal

Loe and Jim met online in 2016 and, a few years later, Jim popped the question. They were at a charity event on a British Pullman steam train. Jim stood up on the footplate to have his photo taken and encouraged Loe to climb up behind him. When she turned around he was on one knee!

The planning

Having visited The Orchard a couple of years before, Loe and Jim came back for another viewing and booked their big day.

We chose The Orchard because we viewed it two years prior to booking and never fell in love with any place more than this. It has that wow factor and is absolutely beautiful!

The big day

Loe and Jim’s September wedding ceremony was held on our Water Terrace, a beautiful outside area under the shelter of our fairy lit, wooden gazebo.

Loe looked wonderful in her beautiful fishtail wedding dress with gorgeous lace detailing. Jim looked the part in a stylish grey suit, while the bridesmaids and flower girls were resplendent in contrasting blush pink and teal green.

After the ceremony, Loe and Jim stole some time away from their guests, for some photos in our glorious countryside.

They held their wedding breakfast in our twinkling Starlight Suite, where they and their guests then danced the night away on our underlit dance floor.

Our favourite part of the wedding was how well and smoothly everything ran. Nothing was too much and it took so much weight off of our shoulders. We could just relax and enjoy every moment. Also Tanith was an absolute dream from start to finish. She was amazing.
