A day we will forever remember and treasure.

The proposal

Michaela and Luke were school sweethearts, meeting when just 11.

11 years later, Luke proposed while they were on a trip to Rome. He chose a fabulous private rooftop bar at sunset and, of course, Michaela said “yes” (or should that be “sì”?!).

The planning

The Orchard was the first venue Michaela and Luke visited and they fell in love with it instantly…

The stunning setting, and amazing wedding packages like no other I’ve ever seen with some amazing suppliers, the dedicated wedding planners and team that made the planning so smooth and comfortable were just a few of the many reasons we decided to have our special day at The Orchard.

They booked their summer wedding just 6 weeks before the big day!

The big day

Beautiful sunshine greeted Michaela, Luke and their guests on their wedding day. Their ceremony was held outdoors in our Garden Gazebo. Michaela looked fabulous in her elegant off the shoulder, fishtail wedding dress.

And Luke was very dapper in his stylish grey suit with, a blush pink tie matching Michaela’s flowers and their wedding cake.

Their wedding breakfast was held in our Starlight Suite, where their guests could then dance the night away.

Our whole day was absolutely perfect, too many special moments to have a favourite.

The whole day we felt so looked after by your team at The Orchard, from the very start of the planning, the ceremony, meal and evening reception everything was even more amazing than we could have ever imagined and a day we will forever remember and treasure.

Our guests months later still comment on how special your venue at The Orchard really is and we cannot thank you enough for all the effort and care you put into our day, nothing was ever too much trouble!
