How to make the most of the weather

If you live in England, I bet you’re thinking ‘what if it rains on my wedding?!’

We won’t to lie to you, it might happen! But we have the perfect tips to ensure you enjoy your day no matter the weather.

Tip 1 – Have a backup plan

If you have chosen to marry at your venue and chosen their outside area for your ceremony, make sure your venue has a beautiful inside or undercover area to move to if needed.

Tip 2 – Check they will move it on the day

It’s worth making sure a venue will move your ceremony at the last possible minute. Here at The Orchard we will leave it until the last moment to make the decision to move your ceremony to our outside undercover Water Terrace area or one of our two gorgeous inside ceremony areas.

Tip 3 – Get umbrellas!

Umbrellas are the perfect shelter so it’s definitely worth getting in a few. Even if you just get some nice umbrellas in white or to match your colour theme so that you and your wedding party have something to use and still get awesome photos no matter what.

Tip 4 – Que Sera, Sera

As the old saying goes, whatever will be, will be. You are marrying to celebrate your love, not to get a tan. So, don’t stress about it and enjoy your day no matter what. Checking the forecast every day is only going to send you into a pit of rain worry despair – There is nothing we can do other than embrace the weather and have a smashing day!
