Brunch at the Lodge
Food plays a big part in every wedding at The Orchard, starting from the very beginning of your day. Our Brunch Baskets are delivered to The Lodge while you’re getting ready, giving you and your bridal party a relaxed, private morning before the celebrations begin.
Each basket is thoughtfully prepared with your group in mind, with dietary requirements catered for as standard. Inside, you’ll find freshly baked pastries, warm scones, homemade preserves, waffles, pancakes, and generous fresh fruit platters.
Everything is designed for easy sharing and relaxed grazing while hair and makeup are underway. Freshly brewed tea and coffee are included, with speciality drinks available on request, such as chai lattes and caramel iced frappes.
The Lodge opens out onto an outdoor seating area with uninterrupted views across the Kent countryside a calm, inviting space to sit together, enjoy your brunch, and take a breather before the day gathers pace.
Canapes
Served alongside your ceremony drinks, our canapés give your guests something delicious to enjoy as the celebrations continue.
Beautifully presented and perfectly formed, they offer a tempting teaser of what’s still to come.
Our front-of-house team circulate with canapés and drinks, adding a sense of occasion without interrupting the natural flow of the day. This keeps guests relaxed and well cared for as they mingle before sitting down for your wedding breakfast.
Thoughtfully timed and carefully chosen, canapés help bridge the gap between the ceremony and wedding breakfast, giving guests the chance to pause, enjoy the setting, and soak up the atmosphere while you capture some of the most photographed moments of your wedding day.
Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast takes place in the Starlight Suite, a warm and welcoming space designed for guests to relax, settle in, and enjoy conversation.
Within our full-day wedding packages, you can include a sit-down three-course meal. Couples may choose up to two starters, three mains, and two desserts, allowing you to select a few of your favourite dishes while giving guests the option to choose what they would like on the day. All of our menus can cater for dietary requirements across your guest list.
If you fancy something a little different from a traditional three-course meal, our platter-style BBQ wedding breakfast is perfect for couples looking for a relaxed alternative. Choose your preferred meats and sides, all served to the centre of the tables for guests to share.
Our Fiesta Package offers another unique option, featuring circulating bowl food served over two hours. Guests can sit outside, enjoy the sunshine, and let our team bring the food to them.
All food is prepared by a talented kitchen team led by our Executive Head Chef, Callum Clark-Ferreira. His ethos centres on hearty, home-cooked dishes made using fresh, local produce, with generous portions full of flavour and designed to appeal to every guest.

Evening Buffet
Just when you think the night is winding down, the best part arrives, the evening buffet!
Our evening food offers a wide variety of options to suit every style of celebration. Choose from relaxed favourites such as BBQs and grazing tables, or opt for something more laid-back with our ever-popular circulating Burger Bar.
If you’d like to bring flavours from around the world to your evening reception, we also offer dishes such as chicken jambalaya, Greek gyros, or loaded dirty fries.
For those final moments as guests make their way home, we can even offer a cheeky late-night snack from bacon rolls to classic fish and chips.
