Wakes

Our peaceful location, with views over the Kentish countryside, is the perfect spot for reflection at this sad time.

We hold wakes for up to 80 people in our warmly decorated Oak Rooms, or up to 130 in the Orchard Suite. Whichever you choose, The Orchard will be exclusively yours for the day.

We can provide a finger buffet or afternoon tea for your guests. A fully licensed bar is available if you wish, plus we can serve tea and coffee.

Our experienced team will take care of everything for you, to ease the pressure at this difficult time.

If you wish, this can include creating a memory table and playing music of your choice.

We don’t charge a venue hire fee for wakes, you simply pay for the refreshments.

A smaller gathering of up to 80 guests in the Oak Rooms, for example, costs from £800 for a finger buffet. Up to 100 guests can be seated for afternoon tea in our Orchard Suite from £2,274.
